OJJDP To Cosponsor the Sixth National Sexual Assault Response Team Training Conference
On May 25-27, 2011, in Austin, TX, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), in collaboration with the Office for Victims of Crime and the SANE-SART Resource Service, will sponsor the Sixth National Sexual Assault Response Team Training Conference, “SART: Together We Can!”
The conference will focus on helping sexual assault response teams assist sexual assault victims, hold sex offenders accountable for their crimes, and prevent further sexual assault in their communities. A featured conference track will highlight issues surrounding sexual assault in Indian Country. Other panels will discuss child protection, crime scene investigation, victims’ rights, stalking, sex offender typologies, and more.
